Our client operates a well-regarded boutique property in the Eastern Cape, with a reputation for excellent guest experiences and strong operational standards. This is a role with full P&L responsibility, reporting to the Group General Manager. The successful candidate, whether an individual or a couple, will be accountable for the property's operational, financial and guest experience performance across all departments. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the property's performance, operating with genuine autonomy while benefiting from group-level support. This is a role for a commercially minded hospitality leader who leads from the front, holds their team to high standards, and is genuinely invested in building something excellent in a boutique, close-knit environment. ??? ???????????????? Oversee all day-to-day operations across departments, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to SOPs. Full P&L responsibility, including revenue, gross profit and EBITDA performance against targets, with financial oversight of budgets and stock control. Lead; mentor and develop the team, with a strong focus on succession planning, staff readiness and retention. Deliver exceptional and personalised guest experiences, maintaining outstanding ratings across all review platforms. Drive operational innovation, continuously improving both guest experience and operational efficiency. Coordinate with outsourced service providers to maintain alignment with operational and quality standards. ???????????? Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, ideally in a boutique, lodge or remote property. Full P&L ownership with demonstrable EBITDA accountability. Strong people development and succession planning skills. Comparable boutique, lodge or remote property management experience. Genuinely comfortable with a rural Eastern Cape lifestyle, away from an urban environment. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
