Grade 12
Trade Tested Artisan
Minimum 3 years' Operator experience in a Manufacturing environment
Computer literacy
Knowledge of relevant maintenance practices/ designs/ methodologies/ SOPs
Housekeeping and safety principles
Key Responsibilities
Sets and maintains machines as per suppliers’ operating manual.
Operates machines according to specifications.
Handles and operates machines safely.
Prepares incident reports.
Ensures equipment produces correct quality product at production rate.
Maintains extraction and cooling systems in working condition.
Completes job cards before maintenance work.
Completes production logs, attribute charts, and SPC data.
Operates within controls and procedures to ensure integrity.
Reports risks or concerns to management.
Promotes compliance with regulations.
Monitors costs and expenditure.
