Our client, in the FMCG industry is urgently seeking to employ an experienced Regional Sales Manager based in Cape Town.
Requirements:
BSc in Food Technology or BCom in Business.
6–8 years of experience in commercial or technical sales.
Sales experience within FMCG or industrial sector.
Experience in handling key accounts.
Strong discipline and time management skills.
Planning and proactive approach.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Strong communication and persuasiveness.
Resilience and solid business acumen.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
Responsibilities:
Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach.
Build market share across all categories.
Drive and achieve volumes and budgets.
Research and grow product and industry knowledge.
Execute promotional activities as per company standards.
Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships with an absolute focus on service.
Compile and submit weekly sales reports.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Provide feedback on market trends as required.
Perform sales administration and ensure delivery standards are met.
Develop and maintain agreements for factory accounts.
Review customer accounts monthly to identify and resolve queries.
Note: Extensive travel required.
