Hospitality Hire is recruiting for a 4 Star Luxury Hotel in Bantry Bay. Our Demi Chef de Parties are the driving force behind their sections, bringing creativity, consistency, and precision to every dish. As a Demi Chef de Partie ; you will take ownership of your section, ensuring seamless preparation, flawless execution, and exceptional presentation. You will work alongside senior chefs to uphold the highest culinary standards, maintaining discipline, focus, and excellence from mise en place to service. What We’re Looking For A valid South African ID or work permit Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification Formal culinary qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) 2 to 4 years’ experience in a fine dining, luxury hotel, or high end restaurant environment Proven experience managing a kitchen section with precision and consistency Strong technical skills and knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to your section Solid understanding of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP principles Excellent time management, organisational, and leadership skills Ability to perform under pressure with calm focus and professionalism A strong sense of teamwork and mentorship What You’ll Do Take full ownership of your section during preparation and service Deliver dishes of exceptional quality, taste, and presentation in line with luxury standards Maintain consistency in flavour, plating, and portioning across all services Prepare mise en place efficiently and ensure readiness before service Manage stock levels, portioning, and wastage control Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards at all times Label; store, and rotate ingredients correctly for freshness and traceability Mentor and guide junior chefs through hands on training and leadership Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail Collaborate with senior chefs to refine dishes and uphold the property’s culinary identity Why Join Here; discipline meets creativity.
