Job Summary
Hotel Reservations Manager required for a business hotel in the Cape Town Airport region. By successfully leading your reservations team and optimize booking operations, the ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of hotel reservation systems, revenue management, and guest relations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy. Manage reservations, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Monitor room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize revenue. Implement strategies to increase bookings across all channels (direct, OTA, corporate, and group bookings). Maintain excellent relationships with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Generate regular reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue metrics. Collaborate with front office, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in hotel reservations management or similar role. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and revenue optimization experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as needed.
