Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful management and implementation of our High school & SASLI Programmes. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills to support programme excellence and operational efficiency
Roles and Responsibilities:
Facilitate the development, coordination, and execution of comprehensive work and project plans to meet programme goals and milestones.
Provide leadership and guidance to the Project Support Unit, ensuring effective team coordination and project tracking to conclusion.
Oversee the development, rollout, and maintenance of systems supporting programme delivery, including online curriculum and rewards systems.
Lead communication management across multiple platforms, ensuring effective engagement with schools, scholars, parents, partners, and stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage logistics and administrative support for all programmatic events, acting as the primary on-site contact.
Support data-driven reflection, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation to inform continuous programme improvement.
Collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure seamless project implementation.
Ensure adherence to organisational policies and values, fostering a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.
Provide efficient administrative support including capturing data, managing invites,
RSVPs, and maintaining project documentation.
Assist with internship coordination and contribute to the organisational communication strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within educational or nonprofit programmes.
Strong organizational abilities and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Ability to analyse data to drive strategic improvements.
Leadership skills to guide and support team members effectively.
Familiarity with system development and online content management.

Qualifications
Relevant post graduate qualification in project management or related field Experience
3 years overall experience, with at least 2 years in project planning and coordination role
Skills and knowledge
Degree or Diploma in a related field (Studies in project management is an advantage)
2+ years of experience in a project planning and co-ordination role, and at least 3 years of overall work experience in a fast-paced, multi-functional setting
Experience in the education sector or knowledge of the SA education system is an advantage
Data literacy - the ability to read data dashboards and draw insights and demonstrated ability in using data for decision-making
MS Office proficiency
Understanding of complexity of diversity and discrimination across all factors, including but not limited to class, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic origin,
culture and religion
Multi-lingual (isiXhosa and Afrikaans) is an advantage
