A luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Duty Manager with a strong Front Office focus. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and enjoys leading from the front to create exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily Front Office operations ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures
• Act as Manager on Duty ensuring smooth hotel operations during shifts
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
• Support and guide the Front Office team to deliver luxury service standards
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Concierge and operational departments
• Assist with training, mentoring and development of team members

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• 3–5 years Front Office experience in a quality hotel environment
• Previous Supervisor or Duty Manager experience advantageous
• Strong guest engagement and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership ability
• Ability to remain calm in a high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
