Accommodation: Live-out ➕ Benefits: Provident Fund (6% company + 6% employee contribution) 50% Company contribution to Discovery Medical Aid 13th Cheque (performance-based, at owner’s discretion) Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 100% salary Position Overview A leading eco-conscious hotel in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and experienced Reservations Manager to oversee all aspects of its reservations department. This role requires a dynamic and organised professional with exceptional leadership skills, a strong grasp of revenue management, and the ability to drive performance while maintaining a guest-first approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, leadership, and a commitment to service excellence in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the reservations team. Train; schedule, and support staff to achieve departmental and company goals. Monitor room availability, pricing, and inventory to optimise revenue. Implement effective booking strategies across direct, OTA, corporate, and group channels. Maintain strong relationships with guests and travel partners, ensuring seamless pre-arrival communication. Prepare regular occupancy, booking, and revenue performance reports. Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing departments to ensure a cohesive guest journey. Minimum Requirements 3–5 years’ experience in a hotel reservations management or supervisory role (essential) Proven proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and online booking platforms. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in revenue optimisation and yield management highly advantageous.
