About the position:

As an integral member of our diversely talented and experienced Risk and Internal Audit team, the IT Risk and Compliance Auditor will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our firm's standards of excellence. This position involves close collaboration with our clients, both nationally and internationally, to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, company policies, and best practices within the IT landscape.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  
• Develop and execute detailed audit plans and programs, assessing the effectiveness of internal IT controls.
  
• Conduct risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities in client operations.
  
• Compile detailed audit reports, communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  
• Proactively follow up on audit findings to confirm the implementation of corrective actions.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  
• Foster strong client relationships, aiming to enhance internal controls and operational processes.
  
• Offer expert advice and support to clients, contributing to their strategic decision-making processes.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, making a tangible impact on business processes.
  
• Gain deep insights into clients' industries and sectors to provide tailored audit and advisory services.
  
• Utilize data analysis and testing methodologies to identify system weaknesses and propose robust IT control solutions
  

Requirements

• South African citizenship.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An Honours degree is preferable
  
• Professional Qualification relevant to IT auditing
  
• Candidates currently pursuing a CISA certification will be advantageous
  
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in IT auditing, demonstrating a solid understanding of auditing standards and procedures
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)
  
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines under pressure
