Job Summary
Cape Town is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping Division in delivering world-class cleanliness, comfort, and luxury experiences. This leadership role requires a polished, service-driven professional who upholds international brand standards while ensuring operational excellence across all 134 rooms and public areas. The Executive Housekeeper will blend strong operational oversight with forward-thinking strategy to ensure the department functions efficiently, sustainably, and in harmony with the hotel’s service ethos. This role requires a commitment to exceptional guest experience, staff development, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior housekeeping leadership role within a 5-star; internationally branded hotel . Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire large multicultural teams. Strong operational, financial, inventory management, and strategic planning capabilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of housekeeping technologies, PMS/OPS systems, quality control standards, and sustainable housekeeping practices. Proven track record in maintaining exceptional brand standards across guest rooms, suites, and public spaces.
