Duty & Guest Experience Lead I Luxury, boutique hotel Be the guardian of the guest journey, a hands-on, visible leader who makes sure every guest feels the warmth, magic, and impeccable care that defines us. The Role Nestled against the slopes of Table Mountain, this boutique hotel is looking for a Duty & Guest Experience Lead to oversee daily hotel operations across shifts, lead and inspire our front-of-house and housekeeping teams, support events and dining, and act as the primary point of contact for every guest need, resolving concerns, anticipating wishes, and leaving lasting impressions. What You'll Do • Be the go-to person for guest queries, requests, and feedback, from arrival to departure • Deliver personalised service that reflects our spirit, and handle complaints with grace and genuine care • Supervise daily hotel operations, room inspections, and presentation of guest and public spaces • Oversee linen and stock management, maintenance reporting, and Health & Safety compliance • Lead daily team briefings in the General Manager's absence • Help plan and run hotel events and dining experiences, from intimate dinners to bigger celebrations • Mentor and develop the front-of-house and housekeeping teams, and champion a collaborative, kind, purpose-driven culture What You Bring • Experience in a luxury or 5-star hospitality environment is essential • Grade 12 plus a relevant hospitality Diploma or Certificate • 3+ years in hotel operations, guest relations, or hospitality management • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role • Working knowledge of PMS/POS systems and general admin • A valid driver's licence • Calm under pressure, sharp with people, and genuinely warm with guests Why Join Us Here; hospitality is personal.
