Job Summary
Purpose:
Overall management of the procurement, logistics, and accounts functions for our client in support of revenue growth, operational efficiency and profitability. Takes responsibility for driving supplier performance, cost control, statutory compliance and the optimisation of pre-and post-sales processes. Lead and direct support staff to ensure the consistent delivery of quality services and products; on time and on budget. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales & efficiency, and the overall profitability of the business.
Key Results Area:
- Overall management of the procurement function
- Overall management of the logistics function
- Overall management of the debtors, creditors and order processing functions.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Relevant commercial tertiary qualification, with a minimum of a B.Com Honours degree is a requirement
- At least 10 Years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the electronics/technology B2B sales industries
- Strong understanding of financial management, margin management, and pricing strategies
- Ability to analyse performance metrics and market trends
- Good understanding of accounting principles & practices
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership skills to coach and lead team
- Understanding of international import supply chain management and distribution
- Knowledge of domestic warehousing and courier operations
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft 365 products and ERP systems
- Good prioritising and time management skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Cultural sensitivity with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English
