Junior Legal Administrator Century City
Our client seeks a Junior Legal Administrator with 1-2 years experience to provide administrative and coordination support to the Legal, Compliance and/or Company Secretarial function, assisting with document control, governance workflows, and general legal administration in a regulated financial services environment.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric plus relevant qualification or studies (advantage): Legal Secretary/Paralegal certificate, diploma, or LLB studies in progress.
- 1–2 years’ experience in an admin role (legal office/professional services/financial services advantageous).
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfort working with PDFs and document management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain legal and governance document filing systems (electronic and hard copy), including version control.
- Prepare and format documents (letters, resolutions, templates, basic agreements) for review and signature.
- Coordinate signatures (wet-ink and e-signature), track turnaround times, and maintain execution registers.
- Assist with board/committee administration: meeting scheduling, pack collation, attendance registers, and action trackers.
- Support CIPC and statutory administration (where relevant): collecting information, updating registers, and preparing submission packs for review.
- Maintain registers and trackers (contracts register, litigation/query log, policy register, POA/delegations tracker).
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers (auditors, attorneys, company secretarial vendors) to obtain documents and confirmations.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding documentation for directors and key persons (ID, declarations, consent forms) as required.
- Provide general office administration support to the legal team: diary management, travel bookings, meeting notes, and invoicing support.
- Capture and reconcile legal invoices, create purchase requisitions, and track spend against budget.
- Support compliance-driven tasks such as KYC/AML document collation (as assigned) and record-keeping.
