What You’ll Be Doing
As the Administrative Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all administrative functions that support sales, customer service, and order processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Sales Order Management
Oversee the full process from order capture to invoicing and dispatch
Manage key accounts end-to-end
Ensure accurate data entry, pricing, credit limit checks, and compliance
Allocate workloads to meet deadlines and delivery expectations
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor the admin team
Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity
Conduct training, evaluations, and team meetings
Manage leave, attendance, and peak-period workflow planning
Customer Communication & Support
Serve as the go-to escalation point for customer queries and urgent orders
Resolve discrepancies, delivery issues, and account concerns
Ensure communication is professional, timely, and solution-driven
Operational Coordination
Work closely with warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance teams
Coordinate dispatch schedules and prioritise urgent orders
Reporting & Administration
Compile management reports and monitor team performance
Maintain documentation, improve processes, and implement workflow enhancements
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or related field (advantageous)
3–5 years’ experience in sales administration / order processing
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in an admin or internal sales environment

Strong understanding of sales order cycles and stock management
Excellent communication and customer service ability
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems
Highly organised with strong planning and multitasking skills
