Trainer – Luxury Safari Travel Operation – Cape Town Our client, a leading luxury safari company, is seeking two experienced Trainers to join their Cape Town team. This role is suited to individuals with a strong background in safari tourism, travel consulting, and operations, who are passionate about training, development, and driving service excellence across teams. Description: The Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programmes for Sales and Operations teams. This includes onboarding new employees, facilitating ongoing skills development, and ensuring all staff are aligned with company systems, processes, and product knowledge. Key responsibilities include identifying skills gaps, developing training materials, and delivering engaging sessions across a variety of topics such as itinerary building, CRM systems, and operational workflows. The role requires close collaboration with management, HR, and department heads to ensure training aligns with business objectives and enhances overall performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining training content, adapting materials as systems evolve, and supporting a culture of continuous learning within the organisation. Salary: ± R45,000 per month + benefits Location: Cape Town Requirements: • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant within a luxury safari or inbound tourism environment (essential) • Strong understanding of safari logistics, routing, and operational flow • Experience building and managing itineraries • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) and itinerary platforms (Tourplan/Wetu-type systems advantageous) • Experience with ResRequest or similar systems beneficial • Previous training or facilitation experience advantageous • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
