Job Summary
A dynamic hospitality group is seeking an experienced and driven Reservations Team Lead to oversee a central reservations team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering seamless guest experiences while driving revenue growth. REQUIREMENT: * RSA ID and legal residence essential * Minimum 6 years’ experience in a reservations department or travel/tourism call centre * Proven experience as a Senior Reservations Consultant or Team Lead * Strong leadership and team management skills * Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) * PMS knowledge (eRES, Nebula, Opera, Apex, CRM systems) advantageous * Strong organisational and time management skills * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills * High attention to detail and problem-solving ability * Professional, well-presented, and self-motivated KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead and manage the Central Reservations Team * Oversee all reservations via phone, email, WhatsApp, online platforms, and systems * Drive sales, upselling, and cross-selling across the portfolio * Manage reservation statuses, cancellations, amendments, and refunds * Ensure SOP implementation and system accuracy * Oversee OTA management and inventory control * Assist with revenue forecasting, occupancy, and deposit tracking * Prepare arrival reports and communicate with lodge operations teams * Maintain accurate records, reporting, and effective inbox management * Train, support, and develop team members * Ensure compliance with company policies and high service standards PACKAGE: * R20,000 – R25,000 CTC * Provident Fund contribution (5%) * Medical Aid available after 3 months
