Local candidates only, must live within an easy commuting distance Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting a skilled Chef de Partie for a very high-end boutique hotel kitchen in the Ballito area. This is a temporary/seasonal position suited to a chef with strong fine-dining standards, excellent consistency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Run and maintain your kitchen section during service with precision and consistency • Support mise en place, service preparation, and plating to fine-dining standards • Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety compliance • Assist with stock control, portion control, and wastage reduction • Work closely with the Sous/Head Chef to ensure smooth service flow • Handle dietary requirements and allergy procedures correctly • Contribute to a professional, disciplined kitchen culture Requirements • Previous Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef experience in a fine dining / luxury environment essential • Strong all-round kitchen skills with excellent attention to detail • Reliable, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure • Must be able to work shift schedules, including weekends and peak service days • Must reside in the Ballito area or within a reasonable commuting distance (live-out role) • Contactable references essential Package • Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 Gross per month (depending on experience) • Temporary / seasonal contract • Live-out position To Apply Please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head and shoulders photograph ASAP. ?
