Assistant General Manager – Luxury Beach Hotel | Ballito, KZN Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and driven Assistant General Manager to join a prestigious luxury beach hotel located in the beautiful coastal town of Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to support the General Manager in ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering world-class guest experiences in a vibrant beachfront environment. Requirements: · Minimum 3–5 years’ management experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel or lodge environment · Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills · Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high service standards · Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control · Guest-centric approach with a passion for hospitality excellence · Knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and general operations · South African citizenship or valid work permit essential Responsibilities: · Assist the General Manager with daily hotel operations across all departments · Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain brand standards · Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures · Support in managing budgets, cost control, and revenue targets · Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally · Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management · Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure smooth guest interactions and service delivery · Assist with administrative duties, reporting, and operational planning Package: · Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 (Depending on experience) · Live-out position · Supportive and dynamic working environment To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo to Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
