Job Summary
Company and Job Description:This role is ideal for a skilled cloud professional who enjoys working in dynamic environments where performance, scalability and reliability are critical. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining cloud based platforms while working closely with cross functional teams to deliver efficient and secure solutions. You will play a key role in modernising infrastructure, improving deployment processes and ensuring systems are optimised for both performance and cost. This opportunity offers exposure to enterprise level cloud environments and the chance to work with the latest tools and technologies in cloud engineering and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support automated deployment and integration processes
- Build and manage containerised applications using modern technologies
- Support hybrid and multi cloud environments ensuring seamless integration across platforms
- Manage networking and security configurations across cloud and data centre environments
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to ensure uptime and efficiency
- Optimise cloud usage to improve cost management and performance
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience in cloud engineering with strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- Proven experience working with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform or Jenkins
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code
- Hands on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of networking including firewalls, routing and virtual networks
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Azure certifications are required
- Additional certifications in cloud or infrastructure tools will be advantageous
- Strong problem solving ability with attention to detail
- Ability to work across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
