Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Junior Commercial Underwriter / Borker Administration to join a growing bUnderwriting Manager in Roodepoort. This role is ideal for a semi?junior to senior underwriter who enjoys both technical underwriting and broker onboarding/administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding new brokers and ensuring all compliance and documentation is completed accurately
- Managing broker queries and supporting the onboarding process
- Performing underwriting tasks across personal and/or commercial lines
- Ensuring policies, endorsements, and schedules are processed correctly
- Maintaining strong broker relationships and providing technical support
Requirements
- 2–5+ years’ experience in short?term insurance underwriting
- Strong administrative and compliance skills
- Ability to manage broker onboarding processes
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- RE5 & FAIS advantageous
