Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead and grow business development and sales operations within the technology and security solutions industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading sales initiatives to increase market share and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and internal sales and marketing teams
• Identify and develop profitable business opportunities through market research and industry analysis
• Assess sales, marketing, supplier, and vendor operations and recommend improvements where necessary
• Prepare documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Research emerging industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to meet customer needs
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to support business growth
• Create development plans, sales strategies, and growth projections
• Strengthen internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and market share
• Build and lead cross-functional teams to support sustainable long-term growth
• Contribute to the company’s long-term strategic objectives and growth planning
• Present business and marketing opportunities to senior management
• Develop initiatives to engage end users through channel partners and support sales teams with tools and collateral
• Explore and secure new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the market
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
• A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
• 5–10 years of experience in sales or marketing
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience within the CCTV or security technology industry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing
