We are looking for a hands-on Shop Fitter to construct, install, and fit out retail and commercial spaces in line with design specifications. The role involves assembling and installing fixtures, fittings, counters, shelving, display units, and signage to create functional, visually appealing environments, while working with materials such as wood, metal, and glass. Key Responsibilities: Prepare job sites, load/unload tools and materials, and assist with barricade setup Follow diagrams and installation standards, ensuring neat, compliant installations and basic ceiling repairs Interpret technical drawings and plans to guide fitting and fixture installation Adhere to site safety rules, use PPE, report hazards, and participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks Accurately capture job progress, material usage, and site photos via forms/mobile apps for daily reporting Maintain tools and equipment, assist with stock takes, and report any losses or damage Support site logistics, documentation, and project handovers as part of a collaborative team Requirements: Basic knowledge of installations and hand/power tool use, with willingness to learn technical skills Strong accuracy in data recording and reporting Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Familiarity with basic safety procedures Basic computer literacy (Excel, Email, reporting apps) Physical fitness and comfort working on elevated or remote sites.Error!
