Job Summary
Established retail business in Hermanus seeking a driven and hands-on Sales Manager to lead and grow the in-store sales team.
This role requires a target-driven leader who can manage daily operations, motivate staff, drive turnover, and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
The successful candidate will be actively involved on the sales floor and responsible for achieving monthly sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead in-store sales team
- Drive monthly and daily sales targets
- Monitor individual and team performance
- Motivate and coach staff to improve sales conversion
- Ensure excellent customer service standards
- Manage stock control and merchandising standards
- Handle escalated customer queries
- Implement promotions and sales campaigns
- Report on store performance and targets
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2–5 years retail sales experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience essential
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience in a technology / electronics / high-value retail environment advantageous
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends
- Reside in Hermanus or surrounding areas
