A new automated carwash brand is launching its first pilot site in Cape Town, with plans to scale nationally.

We are seeking a highly reliable, operationally strong individual to take full ownership of the site setup, launch, and ongoing daily management.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Launch (Project Setup)

• Source and secure suitable premises (high-traffic locations, fuel stations, etc.)

• Conduct site evaluations and coordinate lease agreements

• Liaise with equipment suppliers regarding installation and setup

• Manage utilities, branding, compliance, and operational readiness

• Assist with launch marketing and local activation

• Develop operational workflows and maintenance schedules

Post-Launch (Operations Management)

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the automated carwash

• Monitor stock levels (chemicals & consumables)

• Ensure site cleanliness and operational efficiency

• Be available on call for urgent machine troubleshooting

• Handle customer queries and service recovery

• Track revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics

• Submit weekly operational reports

Minimum Requirements

• Proven operations or project management experience

• Strong organisational and negotiation skills

• Hands-on problem-solving ability

• Technically inclined (comfortable troubleshooting equipment)

• Valid driver’s licence & own reliable transport

• Comfortable with flexible hours and on-call responsibilities
