Job Summary
Our Client in the FMCG Industry is seeking to employ a Planning Admin Superintendent to join their team based in Humansdorp Eastern Cape.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central being highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools is essential.
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- A valid Code 8 (EB) driver’s license.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Monitor and control finished goods inventory levels across all warehouses and storage locations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inventory policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with production, demand planning, and logistics teams to align inventory with sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Manage product shelf life and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams on promotions and new product launches to ensure inventory readiness.
- Lead inventory-related projects, including system upgrades and process improvements.
- Prepare and present inventory performance reports and KPIs to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, quality, and R and D guidelines.
