Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of our IT systems and services. The candidate will have a strong technical background with understanding of hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 support to users
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates
- Monitor network activity and performance
- Train users on new systems and software
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support with qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with a Server setup, maintenance, and backup’s/recovery
- Experience with working on IT helpdesk
- Experience with operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience with network setup, fault finding and maintenance.
- Experience with basic IT Project management
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with IT security best practices
