Key Functional responsibilities of the Warehouse Shift Manager includes but is not limited to:
Shift outcome achieves customer contractual services levels.
Monitor and enforce procedural compliance for employees, and ensure corrective action is taken for all non-conformances on shift.
Continuous improvements for shift actively pursued. Hold staff on shift to account.
Shift plan includes staffing and equipment according to volume and timing. Report on Shift outcome (Plan vs. Actual)
Consistently disciplined and trained staff on shift. Schedule and conduct / Hold staff meetings.
Ensure that all staff is trained accordingly and certified.
Resolve staff issues and queries promptly.
Decisions taken guided by company values / values into account.
Employees are constantly reminded of values.
Responsible for shift planning by planning shifts in advance.
Ensures accurate recording of staff time and attendance.
Communicate plan before shift.
Unsafe matters corrected immediately on shift
To be an active role player and carry knowledge on food safety culture.
To be conscious of general Health and safety protocol as per the company policy and procedure.
To share awareness of the Facility general Health and safety representatives in case of an emergency.
Shift documentation is complete and accurate for all activities.
Documentation is filed on shift completion.
Quality Compliance monitored on every shift, standards Shift is compliant with QSP requirements.
Corrective action for all quality non-conformances on shift.
Responsible for Quality Control and rejection of product out of specifications
Shift expenditure is managed within shift budget. Cost overruns for shift are investigated and appropriate
counter measures are instituted to prevent further overruns.
Monitor and enforce procedural compliance on shift.
All staff on shift are trained on Company procedures.
Corrective action for all non-conformances on shift.
Submit report for shift, ensure that reports are accurate.
Report deadlines are met.

Shift documentation is complete and accurate for all activities.
Documentation is filed on shift completion
