A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their production team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for technically skilled individuals who are hands-on, safety-conscious, and accustomed to working in fast-paced production environments.
Matric (Grade 12), Technical qualification or trade certificate (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar), Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment are essential skills required to qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure consistent output

Conducting machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting

Ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are strictly followed

Capturing production data and completing required documentation

Working collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Matric (Grade 12)

Technical qualification or trade certificate
(Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar) -
Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment

Strong understanding of health & safety standards

Ability to work shifts and meet production deadlines
Desirable

FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

Good communication skills and attention to detail
