Job Summary
Job Purpose
To supervise and coordinate technical teams on-site, ensuring that installations, maintenance, repairs, and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations and technical staff.
- Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
- Allocate tasks and manage staff productivity on-site.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues or risks.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and management regarding project progress.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Compile site reports, attendance registers, and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems on-site.
- Train and guide junior technicians and site staff where required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a technical or supervisory role.
- Experience supervising teams on-site.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and project plans.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, reporting systems, emails).
