Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Finance, IT, and Data teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions
- Act as the key liaison between business and technology teams
- Build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively
Data & Impact Analysis
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and business impacts
- Assess upstream and downstream impacts of changes across the finance data ecosystem
- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and alignment across systems
Requirements & Analysis
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and traceable end-to-end
- Perform impact analysis across systems, processes, and data flows
- Structure complex problems into manageable components and solutions
Process Design & Continuous Improvement
- Document current (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes
- Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Recommend and support implementation of best-practice processes
- Contribute to ongoing optimisation of finance and reporting processes
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and success measures
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
- Validate that solutions meet business, data, and reporting requirements
- Track and manage defects through to resolution
Key Requirements
Experience
- 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance
- Proven experience working on finance-related projects
- Strong exposure to data analysis, system integration, and end-to-end delivery
