Our client is a Stellenbosch-based technology company developing innovative platforms focused on financial intelligence, risk management, workflow automation, and data-driven decision-making.

They are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join their product team. This is an opportunity to work on a sophisticated enterprise platform where user experience, analytical integrity, and software quality are considered core design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user journeys and workflows across dashboards, data views, and operational systems.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library.
• Translate business and functional requirements into user-centric design solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
• Review delivered functionality and validate UX fidelity against design specifications.
• Identify usability issues and continuously improve the user experience across the platform.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex application design and user-centred thinking.
• Experience designing data-rich interfaces, dashboards, workflows, or enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Advantageous Experience

• Fintech, Financial Services, Risk Management, Data Platforms, BI Dashboards, or SaaS environments.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and developer hand-off processes.
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Miro, FigJam, or similar collaboration tools.
