Well-established and reputable Accounting, Assurance and Consulting firm in Stellenbosch has CIMA and SAIPA Training Contracts available for their 2027 intake.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates wanting to obtain a training contract with a well-established, reputable and rapidly growing firm where they will receive excellent training and experience.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate/postgraduate who have completed a Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or similar degree at an accredited institution.The firm is looking for a self-confident individual who likes to work as part of a team, but is also willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.
This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost-effective, value-added solutions to their clients’ business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce client reports.
Perform accounting work.
Administrative duties.
Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
Liaison with clients.
Maintenance of SARS accounts.
PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
Tax clearance applications.
UIF registration and administration.
VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.
Qualifications and experience:
BCom Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, or equivalent.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Driver’s license and own transport.
Remuneration:
Market related.
