Job Description

We are recruiting a Temporary Financial Accounting Support professional to assist the Finance Manager and the finance team with day-to-day accounting and reporting activities.

This role is best suited to a hands-on finance professional who is highly proficient in Excel, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within a team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial data preparation.

This is a time-sensitive, fixed-term opportunity requiring someone who can add value immediately.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Finance Manager and the finance team
• Assist with month-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting support
• Prepare, update, and maintain Excel-based schedules, trackers, and financial models
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information
• Support ad hoc finance and reporting requirements as needed
• Maintain strong attention to detail and data integrity at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• Accounting background (SAIPA or similar qualification advantageous)
• Proven experience working within a finance or accounting team
• Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable)
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
