They are seeking a dedicated Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team, where your expertise will support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Duties:
- Manage financial accounting and general ledger functions across multiple companies and business units.
- Perform daily bank processing and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review and process general ledger transactions, ensuring accurate coding and allocation.
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions, and adjustments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing to debt collection.
- Manage accounts payable, verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Monitor project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate WIP and stock records.
- Support project profitability analysis and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, monitor variances, and assist in liquidity planning.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain loan accounts.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidation processes.
- Prepare management accounts, analyse variances, and identify financial trends.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform management decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT submissions, perform VAT reconciliations, and assist with audits.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ relevant accounting experience in a commercial environment.
- Proven experience in management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Effective management and organisational skills.
