They are seeking a dedicated Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team, where your expertise will support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Duties:

• Manage financial accounting and general ledger functions across multiple companies and business units.
• Perform daily bank processing and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Review and process general ledger transactions, ensuring accurate coding and allocation.
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions, and adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing to debt collection.
• Manage accounts payable, verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Monitor project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate WIP and stock records.
• Support project profitability analysis and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, monitor variances, and assist in liquidity planning.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain loan accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidation processes.
• Prepare management accounts, analyse variances, and identify financial trends.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform management decisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate VAT submissions, perform VAT reconciliations, and assist with audits.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ relevant accounting experience in a commercial environment.
• Proven experience in management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Effective management and organisational skills.
