Salary: R24 000 per month (Depending on Experience) + Commission
Are you an experienced Short Term Insurance Sales Representative with a strong background in short-term insurance? Our client is seeking a results-driven professional to lead business growth, manage client relationships, and drive sales across agricultural, commercial, and personal lines insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow the brokerage's short-term insurance portfolio
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Drive sales and business development in agricultural, commercial, and personal lines insurance
Ensure compliance with FAIS legislation and all regulatory requirements
Oversee premium collections and maintain an understanding of the Bordeaux system
Provide professional insurance advice and identify suitable solutions for clients
Travel to clients as required and represent the company professionally
Work outside normal office hours when operational requirements demand
Minimum Requirements
Must live and work in Bloemfontein.
Grade 12 (Matric).
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
Willing to travel.
Minimum 5 years' experience in short-term insurance.
Proven sales experience in Agricultural, Commercial, and Personal Lines Insurance.
RE5 qualification with sound knowledge of FAIS and regulatory requirements.
RE1 and Key Individual (KI) status will be advantageous.
Computer literate (MS Office).
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (read, write, and speak).
Must be available outside normal office hours when required.
Relevant tertiary insurance qualification (e.g. NQF Level 4 in Wealth Management) will be advantageous.
