SAIPA Junior Accounting Article Clerk
An established accounting environment is seeking a motivated SAIPA Junior Article Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, eager to learn, and ready to build a solid foundation toward becoming a Professional Accountant (SA).
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed or currently studying)
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence – essential
- Excellent communication and writing skills in Afrikaans & English – essential
Technical Skills
- Pastel Accounting (full function up to trial balance) – essential
- Microsoft Excel & Word – essential
- CaseWare experience – advantageous
- SARS E-Filing knowledge – advantageous
- Experience with financial statements – advantageous
- Auditing exposure – advantageous
- Taxation knowledge, including calculation and submission of tax returns – advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- VAT calculations and submissions
- SARS submissions and related admin
- Capturing and processing on Pastel
- Assisting with drafting financial statements
- Exposure to all aspects of the SAIPA Learnership
