We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join a growing food manufacturing and distribution business where you’ll play an important role in keeping the finance function running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-driven, organized, analytical and eager to grow their accounting career while getting exposure to a broad range of finance functions.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years' accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Pastel, or similar).
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Advantageous
- Completed articles or currently studying toward a professional accounting qualification.
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food production, or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
- Experience with VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
