Junior Payroll Administrator
Location: Paarl, Western Cape
Key Responsibilities:
Process salaries and wages on payroll systems
Capture and maintain employee payroll information
Administer PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other statutory deductions
Manage leave, overtime, and bonus records
Prepare and distribute payslips
Assist with EMP201 and EMP501 reconciliations and statutory submissions
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management
Ensure compliance with labour and tax legislation
Minimum Requirements:Matric (essential)
Qualification in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or Administration
1–2 years' payroll or administrative experience
Basic understanding of payroll processes and South African statutory requirements
Experience with Sage VIP, Sage Payroll, or a similar payroll system
Good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Strong numerical and administrative abilities
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management skills
