The successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring the accurate consolidation and reporting of multiple entities while providing strategic financial leadership to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Group Reporting & Consolidations

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidations across multiple entities.
• Manage complex intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of consolidated financial information.
• Drive improvements to consolidation processes, reporting efficiency, and reporting controls.
• Support listed reporting requirements and group financial reporting obligations.

Financial Leadership & Reporting

• Oversee the accounting and financial operations function.
• Manage monthly management accounts and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory regulations, and internal reporting requirements.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance reporting to executive leadership.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the group.
• Monitor performance against budgets and strategic objectives.
• Provide detailed financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to support business growth.
• Support strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling and performance analysis.

Governance, Compliance & Controls

• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
• Manage external audit processes and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, taxation requirements, and statutory obligations.
• Maintain a strong control environment across all reporting entities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Partner with operational and executive stakeholders across the business.
• Drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on finance and reporting matters.

Requirements

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 5-8 years' progressive finance experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a Finance Management role.
• Proven experience managing group consolidations within a multi-entity structure (non-negotiable).
• Strong exposure to financial reporting, IFRS, and group accounting environments.
• Experience leading finance teams and engaging with executive stakeholders.

Highly Advantageous

• Commercial property, property fund, or REIT experience.
• Listed company exposure.
• Experience within large and complex group structures.
• Exposure to MDA ERP.
