Job Title: SAICA Audit Clerk

Locations: George, Oudtshoorn or Mossel Bay

Position Type: On-site, full-time placement

Salary: R8 500 - R13 500 - Experience & qualification dependant

Duties:

● Auditing of financial statements.

● Compilation of financial statements.

● Independent review of financial statements.

● Processing of invoices and bank transactions.

● Reconciliation of bank accounts.

● Reconciliation of debtors and creditors.

● Preparation of year to date VAT reconciliations.

● Completion and submission of VAT201 returns and payments.

● Handling of SARS VAT reviews and audits.

● Preparation of management accounts

● Keeping your SAICA assessment process up to date

Requirements:

● Grade 12, studying towards a SAICA accredited degree in accounting.

● Comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and procedures.

● Excellent computer skills.

● Experience with financial software (Pastel/Sage Online/Xero) and knowledge of Draftworx will be advantageous.

● Fully bilingual : English and Afrikaans.
