Clear Job Summary

Our client is seeking confident, all-round accounting professionals to join their Entrepreneurial Advisory Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in accounting and auditing, excel at nurturing and coaching young talent, and demonstrate an ability to lead busy teams while managing multiple assignments, deadlines, and competing priorities.

Expanded Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide junior staff with clear direction, goals, and objectives.

• Set appropriate standards and create a positive work climate.

• Provide coaching and/or training to improve junior staff performance.

• Perform audit fieldwork.

• Produce clear, concise, and error-free financial statements for companies, close corporations, trusts, and individuals.

• Apply technical expertise and analyze data effectively.

• Finalize and propose audit opinions and financial statements.

• Complete timesheets accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain effective client relations.

• Manage own and others' time effectively against project scopes.

• Monitor progress and performance against deadlines and milestones.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed SAICA training contract with an Audit & Assurance elective.

• Completed CTA (preferred).

• Solid knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.

• Working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Pastel.

• Proficiency in CaseWare working papers.

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Afrikaans.
