Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
B.Com Degree or B.Tech in Financial Accounting/ Internal Auditing
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant
Previous manufacturing experience is essential
Advantageous
JDE experience (ERP system)
CIMA qualification
Experience with Hyperion (ORACLE)/ SMART or similar financial reporting systems
Strong MS Excel and IT skills
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
Valid driving licence
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and post journals for monthly management accounts
Prepare and reconcile VAT returns
Reconcile inter-company balances
Prepare fixed cost and transport analysis
Prepare tax packs and financial reporting information
Reconcile ledger accounts
Assist with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Upload financial information onto Hyperion/ SMART
Complete relevant Stats SA manufacturing reporting
Provide financial analysis and support to management
