Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Waste Control Division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Asset Tracker to join their team. The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and to meet strict deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
- Tracking and monitoring the movement of waste and scrap bins using excel spread sheets
- Accurately produce bin reconciliation reports – daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Accurately Identifying and assessing damaged bins
- Coordinating the repairs of damaged bins
- Advising buying and operations of bin availability
- Tracking and recovering of lost bins
- Assist with ad-hoc duties in the transport department as and when required
- Will be required to travel to customer premises to check on slow moving bins and provide feedback to Sales Reps
QUALIFYING CRITERIA:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Computer literacy essential ( Microsoft office) – create and maintain excel spreadsheets, communicate with email, compile reports and present data in tabulated form
- Experience working in a Transport orientated division and environment will be an added advantage
- Valid Code 08 license with own reliable transport
