We are seeking a commercially astute People Partner to translate business strategy into impactful people and culture initiatives. Operating at middle management level and reporting to the Executive Head of Human Capital, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, enabling high-performing teams, strengthening organisational capability, and embedding a robust performance culture.
This role combines strategic partnership with operational excellence. You will guide workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership development, and organisational design while ensuring governance, compliance, and delivery standards are consistently met.

What You’ll Do
Partner with executives and business leaders to translate organisational strategy into people strategy.
Provide input into business planning, workforce planning, and organisational design.
Lead and embed talent management practices including succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and critical skills development.
Drive organisational development, culture, and change initiatives.
Coach and support leaders on performance, engagement, and employee relations matters.
Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant people practices.
Lead workforce planning processes and apply people analytics to inform decision-making.
Monitor key people metrics and identify trends and risks.
Strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure high-quality HR service delivery in partnership with HR specialists.
Support transformation and new ways of working through practical, business-aligned interventions.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in HR, Organisational Development, or Leadership (advantageous).
Professional HR accreditation such as SABPP or SHRM (preferred).
8–10 years’ HR experience, including 4–5 years in a senior HR Business Partner or strategic HR role.
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership teams.
Proven track record in organisational change, performance management, and talent management.
Strong understanding of labour law and employee relations within the South African context.
Advanced capability in workforce planning, organisational design, and people analytics.
Strong consulting, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills.
Experience in a fast-growing or transformation-oriented environment.
