The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and site management, ensuring financial controls are maintained, budgets are monitored, and financial performance is understood and improved. This role requires someone who is comfortable challenging operational stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance link between Head Office and operational sites
- Travel to sites to support operational finance requirements
- Monitor and analyse site financial performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform financial analysis and provide operational insights
- Assist with stock reporting, stock controls, and stock investigations
- Identify financial and operational risks
- Support cost management initiatives
- Analyse trends and provide recommendations for performance improvement
- Drive accountability across operational teams
- Assist with finance process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support month-end reporting and management reporting requirements
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification
- Minimum 3 years' relevant finance experience
- Articles advantageous but not essential
- Commercial finance experience preferred
- Operational finance exposure advantageous
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
- Experience working with stock, inventory, or operational environments advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
