Key Responsibilities:
Daily Bookkeeping & Cash Management
- Manage SAP cashbooks for all bank and cash accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Update and manage cashflow reporting
- Process local payments
Suppliers & Forex- Process consignment supplier and transport invoices
- Perform foreign and local supplier reconciliations
- Monitor forward cover / forex transactions and contracts
Stock & Costing (Non-Negotiable)- Process GRNs
- Prepare monthly stock count reports
- Process stock adjustments
- Perform inventory costings and reconciliations
Month-End & Reporting- Process month-end journals
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare income statement reconciliations
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with Accounting and Mathematics (minimum 60%)
- BCom degree in Finance or related field (essential)
- Minimum 3+ years in one role (stable track record essential; no job hopping)
- Strong stock / inventory accounting experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong Excel skills
- SAP experience advantageous
- Fast learner with ambition to grow into an Accountant role
- Detail-oriented, disciplined and committed
