Job Summary
The Financial Manager will manage all reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial results aligned with accounting standards. They will uphold the integrity of financial records by overseeing ledger management, reconciliations, intercompany processes, and statutory submissions. The role includes maintaining strong internal controls, coordinating annual audits, and ensuring governance frameworks remain updated and consistently applied. The Financial Manager will also steer capital‑planning activities, support liquidity forecasting, and contribute to effective working‑capital management. In addition, this role leads a small finance team, drives performance and development, and collaborates closely with operational and support departments to align financial insights with business needs.
Skills & Experience:
Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail
Confident communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
Proficient in ERP systems, with exposure to JDE considered advantageous
Advanced Excel capability, including financial modelling proficiency
Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
Demonstrated leadership ability with sound judgment and problem‑solving skills
Proven experience leading finance teams
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management within a manufacturing/retail environment
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CIMA
