Job Summary
The main purpose of this position is to identify, prioritize, assess and develop robotic process-automated solutions for the group, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure business value to the group
Detailed description :
- Be the central point of communication between the robotic process automation (RPA) development team and business process subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Advise on, and facilitate an understanding of, RPA capability to create awareness around the selection criteria of viable processes for RPA.
- Work with business process SMEs to identify potential process re-engineering opportunities, for example the use of an application interface (API) versus a user screen.
- Manage the portfolio of RPA processes.
- Lead the discovery, identification and recording of processes for automation.
- Lead the assessment and profiling of business processes within the group for suitability of RPA and business value.
- Manage the quality of the end-to-end delivery of automations, from process assessment to deployment.
- Assess, optimise and report on the business value of the RPA centre of excellence (CoE) automation portfolio.
- Provide requirements traceability for the validation and verification of automations.
- Work with the enterprise architecture and RPA development teams to ensure the alignment of technology road maps to the information technology (IT) strategy.
- Plan and facilitate user acceptance testing.
- Provide training to the business process SMEs and their teams on executing the new process using robotics.
- Support the remediation of production defects, as needed.
Job requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Computer Science or Information Management
- A relevant business analysis certificate
- RPA-related certification (Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, UIPath etc.)
- At least 4–5 years of experience in a process analysis environment, with at least 1 year of experience in RPA and at least 2–3 years of experience in business analysis.
