Qualifications:
- Completed SAICA articles
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fully Proficient in English & Afrikaans (Read, Write, Speak, Understand)
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working in the audit industry
- Experience managing and leading audit engagements
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Experience working with clients in various industries
Responsibilities:
- Leading audit engagements from planning to completion
- Coordinating with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of audits
- Reviewing workpapers and financial statements prepared by audit staff
- Identifying and communicating audit findings to clients
- Providing recommendations for improving clients' internal controls and financial reporting processes
- Staying current on industry trends and changes in auditing standards
Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Detail-oriented and organized
