Our client is looking for looking to employ a bright and independent trainee who wants to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and to join their dynamic growing team.

Main Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):

• Completion of all tasks necessary to gain sufficient exposure to the SAIPA Training
• Program competencies and related documentation over the period of traineeship to a SAIPA degree of expertise
• Professional Accountant (SA)
• Management accounting
• Management reports
• SARS calculations & submissions
• Preparation of Annual financial statements
• Valuations
• Cashflow forecasts
• Independent reviews

As minimum

• Busy with appropriate degree (preferably third year)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be very comfortable with, and have a general understanding of, computers and software, with an ability to learn new software easily.
• Have working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Have strong analytical ability and work well under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality of work.
• Be deadline driven and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Have a strong desire to learn and develop in the position in line with furthering your traineeship.
• Afrikaans and English

Successfully completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, or almost completed with your degree with the following required core subjects from a SAIPA-accredited tertiary institution:

• Financial Accounting 3.
• Taxation 1.
• Auditing 1
• Internal Auditing 2
• Internal Control and Code of Ethics.
